I'm an experienced creative and strategic thinker based in London.

Trevor Beattie and Ben Walker put it best so please click their links.

But if you’re happy to take my word for it, I’m well versed in tricky global projects across multiple territories. At home with new media and traditional media and have experience across a vast range of sectors from drinks to luxury goods to finance and the charity sector. I have a well-developed work ethic and a strong passion for making people’s lives simpler through what we do. I work on my own, as a team (ask me) and lead teams on various projects.

I started young, joining advertising when JWT and Saatchi & Saatchi offered me a job as junior art director on my 20th birthday, and the curiosity of youth has ever left me. First and foremost that's with creativity. But it's also with all the tools that help me. I’ve built the website you’re reading now, from scratch. I have a proficient knowledge of Photoshop and am happy using InDesign, Illustrator, Premier, you name it, which I find really helpful when working with the studio. And if I don’t know it, I’m curious enough to learn it. I recently learned Googles 3D program, SketchUp, to design my bathroom for my builder to work from - Photos available upon request.

So I can be hands-on when needed. I love a problem. It’s a gauntlet to creativity. Creativity loves a problem, or at the very least, an opportunity. As do I. It could be an advert, an opportunity to exploit an emerging channel (see Carling iPint), an event, or a who knows what?

For fun, I give in to my love of music and go to gigs. I used to DJ some of the big clubs in the late 90’s and early 00’s and still do occasionally. Boom chica boom boom.

See, I told you Trevor and Ben would be better at it.

I hate talking about myself. So let Trevor Beattie and Ben Walker do it instead.

But if you insist: I'm based in London UK where I've been a painter & decorator, a trolly collector at Tesco’s, a barman, and an aspiring rock star before finally succumbing to the call of advertising when JWT and Saatchi & Saatchi  offered me a job as junior art director on my 20th birthday. The curiosity of youth hasn't left me as I still want to know how everything works. First and foremost that's with creativity. But it's also with all the tools that help me. I’ve built the website you’re reading now, from scratch. I have a proficient knowledge of Photoshop, and am happy using InDesign, Illustrator, Premier, you name it. If I don’t know it, I’ll learn it. I even learned Googles 3D program, SketchUp, to design my bathroom for my builder to work from - Photos available on request. So you could say I’m pretty hands on.

What drives all this? I love a problem. It’s a gauntlet to creativity. Creativity loves a problem. Or at the very least, a missed opportunity, right? It could be an advert, an opportunity to exploit an emerging channel (see Carling iPint), an event, or a who knows what?

For fun I give in to my love of music and go to as many gigs as I can. I used to DJ a lot of the big clubs in the late 90’s and early 00’s and still do occasionally. And I still hanker to write music, in fact I sat with the composer on some of my work and produced it.

See, I told you Trevor and Ben would be better at it.
